Show and Tell
Hi everyone! So, on Thursday, Speedy took a little trip to my school for sharing. My teacher told everyone that we had a special guest. Of course, I knew who it was. Everyone started guessing that it was the guidence counselor, and my teacher said that was who it is. So at 10:30 Speedy arrived in my classroom. I took about 40 questions, and the kids were allowed to come up and take a close look at Speedy. He totally showed off (all his cuteness!). He groomed himself and ran on his wheel for about 2 seconds (but that was enough). Everyone thought that he was about the cutest thing ever! Total highlight of the day. THe only problem was my teacher rand the chime to quiet everyone down and I think Speedy tried to comit suicide he launched himself off of his second floor and tried to burrow away from the noise! Well, thanks for reading!
YUM!!!
Hi everyone! Todays post is about food (if you get hungry when people talk about food just get something to eat now). So lately, Speedy has been very excited when we bring him his food. We feed him a tablespoon of food a day from little measuring spoon. The other day when I was feeding him, he tried to climb the spoon to see what was in it, but when I poured it into his dish he ran away. This morning when I fed hin he tried to climb the spoon again, but he didn't run away from the noise. I guess he learned (really really quickly) that the noise means food. If humans could learn like that, then we would be geniuses by the time we could walk. Honestly, I think certain people who make the same mistake over again, could really use the extra help. Thanks for reading!

Let's Move!
Hi everyone! Sorry I didn't post on Monday. I tried to make time, but I had a lot of homework to do. So anyway, this post is about some serious exercising. Take a look at these!
I know the middle one is a little blurry, but it shows how fast he was moving. In the first picture it looks like he's trying really hard to sleep. Urrrrr! Uuummmm! I'm sure sleeping is really hard exercise! The third one, I just thought was cute!
A while back, someone asked about a giant hamster ball and Tokyo, I'm still trying to post that video. Thanks for reading! See you guys next week!

Hobbies
Hi everyone! I recently discovered Speedy's love of TV. I found this out because one night, he was running in his ball while we were watching TV. Then the highlight of the show came on and Speedy stopped running, turned and stared at the TV. I guess he felt my family's eyes on him because he started running again. Later, he did the exact same thing. It was hilarious! I mean, I don't know of any other hamster who loves TV. So here is a list of Speedy's other hobbies.
- sleeping
- running
- ripping
- gathering
- hoarding
- sleeping
- weaving
- eating
- playing
- running away from people

- digging

Hi every one this is post 2 of What's Speedy Feeling, and I got a comment saying 'do you ever think that Speedy dreams about Tokyo' and I don't remember who sent it but I'm working on posting a response so keep checking back! This week's edition is called (drumroll) :
The Cleaning People
Snore snore. Huh? What? Who are they? Vroom vroom! Oh, great. Just what I need, a vaccum cleaner. Wait, is that coming closer to me? Yup, it is. Well I'd better head to my tubes to take a nap. Scurry scurry. Thats better. Vroooom Vroooom! On second thought, I might wanna go and just bury myself in fluff and bedding. Vroom vroom. Well thats much better. Now I can finally take a nap.
A few minutes later... VROOOOM! Not again!
A few more minutes later... Click. Oh good, they're done!
That's it for this week's post! Thanks for reading! Tell me how you liked it through comments ( if you can).

What Does Speedy Dream About?
Hi everyone! When ever I see Speedy sleeping, I wonder what he is dreaming about. I can tell he's dreaming when his rear end bounces up and down and goes in and out when he breathes. These are some of the things I think Speedy might dream about.
- Sunflower Land - where all the trees are sunflowers and everything is made of sunflower seeds
- Corn pops - lollipops made of corn
- Strawberry/Carrot Cupcakes - cupcakes made of strawberries and carrots
- pellets
- blackberries
- fruit salad
- running
- sleeping
- cotton fluff

What's Speedy Feeling?
Hi everyone! I'm going to try to write what I think Speedy is feeling. I'll update it as soon as I can. Here is the first one.
When Speedy Explores After His Cage is Cleaned
Oooh, ooh what's that? That smells funny. Hey, where's my old stuff? Wait, where's my bed I want my bed. Okay, maybe my round circle (wheel) will take me somewhere else. *Run run*. Am I there yet? Is this someplace different? *Sniff sniff* Nope not there yet. *Run run* Now am I there? *Sniff sniff* Nope.
1 more time....
2 more times....
3 more times...
Ok, I give up. Oh! Oh! I'll go see if my food is still there. *Scurry Shuffle* Phew! My food is still there. Oh! And there's a strawberry! And corn! And sunflower seeds! Yay!
Okay, that's it for this edition of What is Speedy Feeling! Thanks for reading! Please tell me what you think by sending comments. Bye!
Introducing Speedy!
Hi everyone! This is my first blog so I'll do my best.
First, I want to tell you about Speedy. He is a Russian Robo Dwarf Hamster and he is now about 2 months old. We don't know his exact birthday, but if I find out I'll definatly throw a party for him! Anyway, he is only about 3 inches long and very soft. A few of Speedy's nicknames are : Speedster, Sir Speedy (his royal name), Buddy, and Cutie. He goes in his hamster ball for 20 minutes everyday (or at least the days we remember) and he loves to run on his wheel. His favorite foods are strawberry tops (especially the leaves), sunflower seeds, and corn. One thing he likes to do in his free time is run in his tubes and tunnels. His favorite thing to do besides eat is sleep. He sleeps for almost the whole day. Hamsters are nocturnal, so he sleeps during the day and stays up all night. Well, that concludes this post on Speedy! Please tell me what you think by leaving me comments. Thanks for reading!
